The historic Itasca building is North Loop’s first warehouse loft conversion. The 100 year old six story complex was repurposed in the early 1980’s into 71 lofts that fill the top three floors, and commercial space, including the 708 Deli & Sticks restaurants and the award winning Acme Comedy Club, which fills the lower floors. Original woodwork, exposed brick and wood beams, and vaulted ceilings maintain the charm and elegance of yesteryear. Updates such as a private balcony, wood burning fireplace and brand new kitchen give this loft an elegant, modern touch. Most unique is the building’s glass block arch that separates the residential and commercial atrium.
Q: How can you live downtown and avoid the hustle and bustle of downtown living?
A: Move into the North Loop Neighborhood! An urban ‘island’ separated by Hwys 394, 94, and the mighty Mississippi, North Loop avoids much of downtown’s congestion while still being within walking distance of its energetic core. Neighborhood features such as the Farmer’s Market, Whole Foods, Light Rail Station and gorgeous Target Field make this the most up and coming neighborhood in all of Minneapolis. Welcome home to North Loop!
